San Diego Parkinson’s 5k Walk and Fun Run
Please join us for a great cause – the 24th annual Parkinson’s 5k Walk and Fun Run “Fighting Parkinson’s Step by Step 2010”. The event takes place Saturday, April 17, 2010 at 9:00 a.m. (check-in between 8:00-8:45 a.m.) at NTC Park at Liberty Station in Point Loma. The fun festival area will include snacks, live music, face painting and much more!
Regular registration is available until April 11 (late registration will be available after the 11th for an additional $5). Adults $25, kids under 12 are $15, dogs $10 (optional). Those wanting to support the cause, but who are unable to attend, can participate as a “Virtual Walker.” Please join our team “Big Al’s” when you register.
April is Parkinson’s Awareness month. The 5k Walk and Fun Run is a great way to support this important cause! Walk, run or roll and raise funds for the vital programs and services offered locally for San Diegans affected by Parkinson’s. Half of the funds support promising Parkinson’s research.
