Be Beauty is a must-visit downtown San Diego beauty boutique. Nestled in the heart of Little Italy’s charming Fir Street Cottages (right next door to Zia’s Bistro), Be Beauty has it all – beauty services, fashion, a relaxing outdoor space for enjoying a cup of tea before or after your services, gifts, beauty products and more! I have been going to Be Beauty for nearly two years now and feel badly that I have not shared my experience with this amazing place prior to now.

I stumbled upon Be Beauty nearly two years ago when I was living in Little Italy. I initially started going there for beauty services because it was conveniently located near my home and reasonably priced, but the atmosphere, amazing service and overall experience is what has kept me going back (I don’t live in Little Italy anymore). JuJu and Tara, the owners, are amazing, warm, fantastic people! They take the time to get to know their clients and personalize the experience. They have created an amazing environment that I have not experienced with any other beauty service provider, salon, etc.

Their menu of beauty services covers all the traditional bases and goes far beyond to offer customized services to meet each client’s needs. I have very sensitive skin and JuJu took the time to determine the exact “recipe” for my skin – I’ve never had such personalized treatment until now.

Services include facials, waxing, peels, makeup applications, manicures and pedicures, Shellac, and Minx. When you join their email list you receive the monthly newsletter, which highlights their latest services, beauty specials, new products and fashion arrivals, and features a service, such as this month’s “Coconut Lime pedicure.”

When I was looking for a spectacular dress to wear to my brother’s rehearsal dinner, Be Beauty was the first place that came to mind! Every time I go there for my beauty services I love looking at their awesome clothes – they have such cute things! The boutique specializes in dresses, pieces by local designers, trendy and fun jewelry, shoes, handbags, belts, hats, hairpieces and more! It is the place to go if you want something unique and stunning! I got so many compliments on the dress I wore to my brother’s rehearsal dinner. Be Beauty is also a great place to buy gifts – my girlfriends have loved the unique jewelry I’ve given them.

If you are looking for a great place to host a “ladies’ event” such as a bridal shower, baby shower, birthday, networking event, etc. you should definitely consider a Be Beauty Soiree!  This is a fantastic atmosphere for pampering and with the wide variety of services available, there is sure to be just the right thing for each guest.
