San Diego Architectural Boat Tour
Bayfront: Downtown San Diego
My wife Erica and I were recently invited by friends to enjoy a little boat excursion around San Diego’s Big Bay.
Being a native San Diegan, you would think that a sunset cruise around our great metropolitan bayfront would lose it’s luster over the years, but I have to tell you, this was a breath-taking experience that could never get old!
Early November is one of my favorite times of the year, with mild weather, clear skies & spectacular sunsets.
Top that off with America’s Finest Cityscape, and you have a recipe for success!
San Diego’s growth has inspired architectural diversity, and to see it from the water is arguably one of the best vanage points in the city! Of course, San Diego doesn’t have the architectural density nor the same historic dynamic as seen on Chicago’s Architectural Boat Tour, but it certainly is a beautiful sight well worth seeing!
San Diego’s Skyline from the Bay
I was so inspired by this fun little jaunt, that I had to share some of my pictures.
Maybe there is a niche market for an Architectural Boat Tour in San Diego’s future?
