Construction Begins July, 2012
As part of the Old Police Headquarters Renovation Project near Seaport Village, a potential major anchor tenant has been recently identified, promising another exciting addition to Downtown.
The OPH refurbishment has been in progress since 2004 and has been moving slowly, but real progress has been made recently by Terramar Retail Ceners. The OPH Project is a 5 year plan to refurbish Sea Port Village and is destined to begin the the near future…
With construction set to begin July 2012, and a Grand Opening date of late 2013, the Historic Police Headquarters will bring new life and excitement to the Marina District. As a beautifully revitalized entrance of Seaport Village, visitors from around the world will now get to enjoy an enchanting destination for dining and entertainment, rich in San Diego’s historic roots.
Terramar had been looking to secure an anchor tenant that would attract visitors to the area, and The Cheesecake Factory looks to be a perfect fit!

The Old Police Headquarters Rennovation Project- San Diego
When the Manchester Grand Hyatt was approved it came with a guarantee that Ruocco Park and a park in front of the OPH would be completed. This promise will be honored so the South Harbor Drive side of the OPH will include a park and perhaps some outside dining for a participating restaurant.
