The baseball season is going to be very interesting in San Diego in 2013.
It will be the first year of the new ownership group as well as the exciting new reconfiguration of Petco Park.
Petco has always been known as a pitchers ballpark…. until 2013.
Padres Baseball is going to be a whole new ballgame in 2013!
The New Dimensions of Petco Park
The new Padres ownership has decided to change the play of Petco Park by reconfiguring the dimensions of the outfield, and bringing in the fences to become a much more hitter’s friendly ballpark.
The following details the new dimensions of Petco Park:

The out-of-town scoreboard on the right-field wall will be relocated to a new area above right field as part of seating modifications, and the visiting team’s bullpen to be relocated, for safety issues.
The new configuration should be exciting for sluggers like Chase Headley as well as fans and visitors who come to watch games at Petco Park.
