When selecting a house to purchase, its no secret that many factors are involved in the overall purchase of a property. We see it on a daily basis when out with clients, and hear it frequently on shows such as HGTV’s popular House Hunters. In a recent survey by the National Association of Home Builders Economics Group, they sought to find out how to deliver the home (and community), and what today’s buyers want and are willing to pay for. As this survey is on new home building, it is past the standard “granite countertops”,  “walk-in closet” or “open floor plan” concept, as those have already been factored in.

What exactly do home buyers want? The following 10 items are at the top of home buyers’ most wanted list.
