ShamROCK 2010 in the Gaslamp Quarter San Diego

Chicago dyes their rivers green, but San Diego carpets the streets of the Gaslamp Quarter with Astroturf. It’s time to get lucky and have some fun at shamROCK 2010, the greenest place West of Dublin, Ireland.

Wednesday, March 17th, St. Patrick’s Day, from 4:00 PM to Midnight, the Gaslamp will make its magical transformation into the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. ShamROCK 2010 will feature traditional Irish music, food and dance, but there will also be three stages of live entertainment.

These stages will host the coolest DJ’s, biggest bands and the hottest go-go dancers you’ve ever laid your emerald eyes on! The headline bands will be the Young Dubliners, The Downs Family and Raggle Taggle.

Let’s just say the beer and Irish whiskey will be flowing tomorrow with the 20,000 plus visitors that come to downtown San Diego to partake in the annual festival.

Take Notice that shamROCK will be offering a much needed designated driver program, with FREE rides home to anywhere in San Diego County to any party goer with a shamROCK wristband.

ShamROCK 2010 will take place on F street between 5th and 7th Avenues, 6th Avenue between E and G Streets and G Street between 5th and 6th Avenues in the Gaslamp Quarter. The main entrance is located at 5th and G Street and with sell-out crowds we recommend you buy your tickets in advance.

Tickets are only $20 in advance and $25 on the day of the event. Attendees not only get all the food, drink and entertainment that comes along with shamROCK, but also receive drink specials and no cover charges at over twenty of the Gaslamp’s hottest nightclubs and restaurants.
