Coronado Shores

1830 Avenida Del Mundo, Coronado, CA 92118

The Coronado Shores community features the quintessential Coronado beach lifestyle, without all the hassles of maintaining a single-family home. This condo complex caters to those who want that “lock and leave” lifestyle, whether it’s heading down to the beach in front of the complex for a day or taking off to another country for a couple of months. Located on the shoreline of the Pacific Ocean, just south of the world-famous Hotel del Coronado, the towers have panoramic views that feature the Pacific Ocean, Point Loma, the Vallecito Mountains, Mexico, the skyline of Downtown San Diego, Glorietta Bay, San Diego Bay, the City of Coronado, Hotel del Coronado, San Clemente Island and Isle Cornado. With such incredible views, you may never want to leave!

The Coronado Shores condominiums community consists of ten 15-story 140+ units residential towers spread over 32 acres of land and the community was built in the 1960s & 1970s. Each tower is incorporated and is governed by its condo association. The building features amenities such as 24 hour-hour doormen, security, secured entry, a health spa with a full-service fitness club including sauna and showers,  a beach club, three heated swimming pools and spas, one unheated pool, and spa, and eight regulation tennis courts. The Roeder Pavillon is an event venue that is available to residents and guests for private functions and recreation events. Monthly HOA fees range from the $500’s and up.

The community at Coronado Shores is also very active and involved. At the Beach Club, you can expect events like concerts, Championship Sports games, sunset happy hour, and more! They also have a very robust list of service providers ranging from beauty services, tennis instructors, fitness trainers, massage therapy, and more!

Coronado Shores Beach, aka South Beach, is a wide sandy beach on Coronado Island. Coronado Shores Beach tends to be less crowded than the central Coronado Beach because it’s seemingly less accessible. Since there is a lifeguard here, it’s an excellent place for families to enjoy.

To find this beach, look for the tallest buildings on Coronado Island. If you walk south on Coronado Beach from the Hotel Del Coronado, you will be at Coronado Shores Beach. The public parking lot is behind the beach in the condo complex. Ask at the Coronado Shores entrance booth about public beach day-use parking areas, and they will point you in the right direction. It’s not a huge lot, so it could get filled up if you don’t get here early.

So, whatever your lifestyle… permanent residence, an executive retreat, a second home investment, or beautiful vacation experience, Coronado Shores is the ultimate beach house on one of the world’s most beguiling rivieras
