…& East Village Block Party…

Equals lot’s of fun!  That’s right folks, it’s that time of year again; Padres opening day is right around the corner so mark Thursday, April 5th on your calendar and make sure to take off work early.  It’s going to be another great event for Downtown San Diego’s East Village Neighborhood.

East Village Association and our very own San Diego Padres have quite the extravaganza planned.  Let’s start with the pregame festivities that are taking place on J street just outside Petco Park.

East Village Block Party

This years block party is FREE admission and goes from 11am – 6pm and features:

• $5 beers in the beer gardens including Stone Brewing Co.,  Monkey Pay and Paulaner Brewing.  Space is limited so don’t get there too late.
• Live Music including the Ultimate Stones, a Rolling Stones tribute band, & DJ Kaotik spinning up some house tunes.
• There will be 10 different food trucks offering up tasty fare and lots of FREE schwag from local sponsors.

The Friars are promising to tee off with some hot bats against the Los Angeles Dodgers.  Come out and support your San Diego Padres and your American spirit and heritage.  Eat a dog, drink a beer, take part in the national anthem and get out to the “ol’ ball game”.
